• Description (this can be somewhat lengthy) - The 6^th Annual “State Fair Comes to Harlem” at the Taft Housing projects.
  •  This is a Community Outreach to the 10,000 residents living in the Taft Houses in East Harlem. Mission NYC sponsors a “state fair” like event with live bands, DJ music, Christian dancers, drama teams all from a main stage.
  •   In addition, a free BBQ with free beverages & fruit
  •   For kids there will be face painting, manicures, a soap box derby type card race with trophies for kids, pony rides, petting zoos, a carnival like midway with games and prizes and a Giant inflatable slide
  •   On site there will also be a prayer station and a stock of tracts to give away throughout the day
  •   This year we are even adding a Christian boxing exhibition from a ministry in Philadelphia along with a Free Raffle for air conditioners.
  •   In between the music, Pastor's will be sharing encouraging sermons and, as led by the spirit, inviting people to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
  •   Overall, the purpose of this outreach is to earn the right to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ on a one on one basis with the residents.
