We at Mission NYC would be delighted to link arms and assist you and your group with your mission trip to New York City. In order to help you in your evaluation process we have listed answers to the top 9 questions we receive from most group leaders seeking to bring a group to NYC and responded directly to each one at the top of this page. Below these answers are all of the details about what our ministry can offer your group. Once you have had time to review this information. We would be happy to address and answer any additional questions you, parents, students and your leadership may have regarding your mission trip to New York City.

Most Common Questions:

1. How many days is the average for a custom designed mission trip? - A mission trip can last a day, a week or just a weekend; you have full control of the dates.
2. Would the designed mission trip include all the things that we would need…. housing, food, travel, etc? - We can assist you with everything except airfare or rail from your church to NYC.
3. Is there a minimum number of people that we would need in our group? – Yes - 10
4. Would I have one contact person I would work with throughout the trip? - Yes
5. What is the average per person cost and what would that include? - That depends on the type of housing you want for your group and how many days you plan on being in NYC. Click here for a full list of all of the costs for a NYC mission trip.
6. Do you have a deadline for when we would need to register by? - No, however the later you wait to register the greater the risk that some of your housing & ministry choices will be unavailable because they are already full
7. When do we need to finalize the number of people in our group before our deposits become non-refundable? – 35 days out from your arrival date all group size numbers are finalized.
8. Is there a minimum age limit? – Yes – 12
9. Is there a minimum adult to youth chaperone ratio? Yes – 1 adult for every 5 youth

Customized Mission & Support Service 

As background, Mission NYC’s primary purpose is to build customized mission trips for groups 52 weeks of the year.  Our calling is to customize and meet the specific goals and expectations of each team that comes to minister and serve the Lord here in the New York Metropolitan area.  A mission trip can last a day, a week or just a weekend; you have full control of the dates. 

Mission NYC will collaborate with you or your designee to modify & tweak your mission trip ministry & fun activities schedule long before your group arrives in New York City to minister.   

We Also Offer 4 Different Types of Housing Options For Your Group 

To further assist you in your mission trip planning and budgeting process; Mission NYC provides groups with housing packages to help you control costs while maximizing your mission trip experience. 

All packages include: your housing (kitchen access based on availability), our nationally recognized ministry planning and scheduling services, an optional dedicated mission team city host, 24/7 emergency access to Mission NYC staff, free tracts to distribute in NYC, a church referral list to send new believers for follow up, maps and navigation tools.  (Some of the housing facilities we utilize may include free use of a kitchen to prepare meals, free breakfast or have cafeteria facilities to provide all three meals each day for a fee). Which housing you select is entirely up to you.
